Finally, we want to say a HUGE thankyou to yourself for all your help in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Big thanks to the awesome band too.

Barn Dance 04.07.07:

Just a note to thank you and John for calling at my party at the Dragon Hall last Wednesday.
I don't need to tell you that everyone had a brilliant time - I think it was obvious on the day!
The party was the talk of the school for the next few days, and everyone who didn't come was madly jealous of those who did! Several people are searching for country dance classes near their homes as a result......

Barn Dance 17.04.07:

I want to tell you that the band was a wonderful success on Saturday. Thank you so much for getting the guests dancing (almost all of them) and for fitting in with the party needs. The children's band in the interval was especially appreciated.
I have to tell you that your particular style and leadership were much admired by the assembled company, you did wonders rounding as all up!
The music was just right for the occasion and I shall recommend the band to any friends or colleagues who are organising a special event.
I wish you every success in the future.

After a Wedding Ceilidh in Kent, September 2005:

Please pass on thanks to all the Thingumajig members especially Philippe and John. John worked very hard to make sure everyone "got the hang" of the various dances. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the music tremendously. It was great watching the youngsters dance their socks off!!

Barn Dance 28.10.06:

Just to let you know that our Barn Dance was an enormous success and a large part of the credit for that goes to you and your wonderful musicians. So, once again, many thanks for a fantastic evening, we haven't had so much fun for years and even if we couldn't walk next day it was worth it.

It was brilliant and such a great way to get all the guests up and mingling with each other. We found all the band including your callers very professional and detailed!! Everyone we've spoken to since the wedding has mentioned the Ceilidh dancing and how much fun they had, despite not really knowing what they were doing!
Thanks again for helping to make our day so memorable!

Wedding 17.6.06:

We just wanted to thank you for the amazing entertainment you provided for our wedding at Loseley park on 17th June.
You pitched the music and dancing at just the right level, ensuring everyone, from our 3 year old pageboy to our 92 year old great uncle was able to join in the fun. You were all highly professional and very approachable which made the whole evening flow beautifully.
We have received endless compliments, with many people saying it was the best entertainment they have had at a wedding and we can't thank you enough for making the day so special.

Wedding August 05:

Dear Pete and all the members of ThingumaJig,

We just wanted to write to say "thanks" for providing such great, fun entertainment at our wedding ... We and all our guests had a fantastic time and had such a good laugh attempting all the dances. Many of our guests commented on what an excellent band you were and how you brought such great entertainment to the evening. They wondered how we'd found such a 1st class band.

We were most impressed with your caller and how he managed to get even our most reluctant dancers on to the floor (even they told us how much fun they'd had!) Our younger guests loved it too, we thought the idea of having a dance just for the children was excellent. Thank you so much for making our wedding day such an enjoyable and memorable one. We would recommend you highly to anyone thinking of having a special 'do'.

Wedding June 05:

Dear both,
Thank you thank you thank you for such fantastic music on our wedding day. We had a blast and the mandolin and accordion were perfect with the drinks - thank goodness we had a bit of sun then. Liz' calling and the barn dance was brilliant. Everyone has said that it was the highlight of the wedding for them.
